Saved views

If you keep applying the same filters (US visitors, blog traffic, a specific UTM campaign), save them as a named view. You can switch to that view whenever you need it, without rebuilding the filters.

Save a view

  1. On your dashboard, apply the filters you want. You can click any row, use search, or open Advanced Filters.
  2. Open the filter menu in the top right of your dashboard.
  3. Choose Save as view....
  4. Give it a name you’ll recognise, like “Blog traffic” or “US visitors”, and save it.

That view now lives in your filter menu.

Switch between views

Open the filter menu. All data is at the top (your unfiltered dashboard), followed by each saved view. Click one to apply it. The filter button shows the view name so you always know what you’re looking at.

An active view also gives you a clean, bookmarkable URL instead of a long string of filter parameters.

Layer extra filters on top

Got a view active but want to dig into something specific? Add more filters on top. The button shows both, for example US Visitors +1. Your saved view stays as you left it.

Edit or delete a view

Each view has edit and delete buttons in the filter menu. Use those to change the filters behind a view, or remove one you no longer need.

Who can see saved views

Saved views belong to the site, not just to you. Anyone with access to the dashboard sees the same views, so your team is looking at the same segments.

For the operators, regex, and search options you can use when building a view, see filtering and searching.
