Do I need to sign the DPA?

We can't offer legal advice, but we can talk about the purpose of our DPA.

If you are subject to the GDPR (aka you process website traffic from anyone in the EU), you should sign it. If your website doesn’t ever process data from people in the EU, you do not need to sign it.

That said, our DPA is optional, meaning you can still use Fathom whether or not you sign it. As with anything legal in nature, it’s best to talk to your own lawyers about this if you aren’t sure.

It’s also important to note that whether or not you sign our DPA, we still process your EU website visitor data and traffic per our DPA (using our EU isolation technology).
