Cancel your subscription

How to cancel your subscription

You can do this at any time by going to Settings, then Billing, and clicking the Cancel button in the "Subscription" section.

What happens when you cancel

  • Your subscription will cancel at the end of your current billing period — you won't be charged again.
  • You'll have until then to export your data if you'd like to keep it.
  • If you change your mind, you can undo the cancellation anytime before your billing period ends by clicking "I changed my mind" from the same Billing page.
  • Once your subscription ends, we will queue up the deletion of your sites and analytics data. This can take up to 60 days.
  • If you return and resubscribe during that 60-day period, your sites and data will be reinstated.

Delete your account

Warning: Deleting your account is instant and permanent. Unlike canceling your subscription, there is no grace period and no way to recover your data.

If you'd prefer to permanently delete your account immediately (rather than just cancelling your subscription), you can do this by going to Settings, then Account, and clicking the Delete your account link at the bottom of the page.

Remember to export AND download your data before deleting your account. Once deleted, you'll no longer have access to your account, dashboards, or any exports.

Data we instantly delete

  • All of your site data and account information
  • Your subscription to Fathom
  • Your credit card details in Stripe

Data we keep

  • Payment history in Stripe (for our tax compliance)

Note: at this time, accounts cannot be paused or suspended.
