Introducing: Region data
It's here! Region data has been highly requested, so we're stoked to make this data available on dashboards. You are now able to drill down from countries to see states, provinces (and other first-level administrative divisions) where your visitors are located.
This works just like our referrer filtering: click on a country in your Countries box, and you'll see a breakdown of regions within that country. This gives you a much clearer picture of where your visitors are actually located. For example, filtering by "United States of America" will show you individual states like California, Texas, New York, and so on.
This is super helpful if you're running regional ads, focusing on local SEO, or just want to know where to expand your business next.
You can also filter by regions just like any other metric in Fathom, allowing you to see how visitors from specific states or provinces interact with your site and convert on your events.
Please note:
- We started collecting regional data on June 26th, 2025, and rolled it out to EU countries shortly after, so you won't see any historical data before this date. All new visits from June 26th onwards will include regional data where available.
