A better Partners program

A better Partners program

We’ve rebuilt our referral program from the ground up. It’s now called Partners, and it’s a much better way for Fathom customers to earn from the people they send our way.

The headline hasn’t changed: 25% commission for the lifetime of every customer you refer, and they still get $10 off their first invoice. What’s new is how you earn credit, and how you get paid.

Source keywords

Until now, you only earned when someone clicked your referral link. But plenty of people hear about Fathom from you and then just search for us, or type your name when we ask “How did you hear about us?” at signup.

You can now request source keywords from your Partners dashboard: your name, your newsletter, your podcast, whatever you’re known for. Once we approve them, any signup that mentions one of those phrases counts as your referral. No link needed.

Claim payouts on your schedule

From your Partners dashboard, request a payout whenever you like:

  • Bank payout: paid through Wise in your own currency. $200 minimum.
  • Account credit: applied to your Fathom bill. $20 minimum.

Commissions still clear after 30 days, then sit in your balance until you’re ready to claim. On 1 July 2026 we’ll run one final automatic PayPal payout for any remaining balance; after that, all payouts go through the Partners dashboard.

What’s in the dashboard

The Partners dashboard has five tabs:

  • Overview: performance chart, clicks, referrals, and earnings at a glance
  • Sharing: your referral link and source keyword requests
  • Referrals: your active referred customers (anonymised, as always)
  • Ledger: pending and settled commission entries
  • Claims: submit and track payout requests

Open it from the settings sidebar after logging in, or go straight to app.usefathom.com/partners.

More is on the way. We’re building a milestones program and other improvements over the coming months. If you’re already a Fathom customer, open your Partners dashboard to get started.
