Introducing: Advanced Filters
Advanced Filters is a powerful new way to build and apply multiple filters to your data at once.
Instead of applying filters one by one, you can now open the Advanced Filters modal (via the pencil icon in the top right of your dashboard) and build a complete set of filters before applying them to your dashboard. This makes it much faster to segment your data when you need to apply multiple criteria simultaneously.
The modal lets you combine different filter types across all dimensions. You can see exactly what filters you're building before applying them, and easily remove or modify individual filters as needed. Once you're happy with your filter combination, just hit "Apply" and your dashboard data will update instantly with the filters applied.
We've also added a toggle button next to the Advanced Filters button that shows and hides your active filters on the dashboard.
The existing filtering functionality (clicking on a row of data to apply a filter) remains unchanged. Advanced filters simply provide a more efficient way to apply multiple filters when you need them.
This is just the beginning for Advanced Filters. We've got some exciting enhancements planned for future releases:
- V2: Save filter groups and easily reapply them later as custom segments
- V3: Ability to combine filters with
AND/ORoperators for even more powerful data filtering
