January 2025 Updates
Happy New Year! Here are some of the pieces we've been working on throughout December & January:
- We've been working on a new ingest system to handle millions of requests per second. This is a huge innovation for Fathom and requires lots of work to get it right. We will be sharing more about this soon
- Added Brazilian Real and Swedish Krona as currencies for events
- Added the true amount due to upcoming yearly invoice reminders
- Fixes on API aggregation endpoint for certain edge cases
- Email report link fix
- Late last year, Paul retired, and Jack took the reigns of Fathom
- Fixes to UTM bar colour (or color, for our US friends), so it now makes sense
- Database simplification for referral codes
- Fixed "Date To" on export to be end of day(), not startOfDay()
- We added various admin tools to make our support department more efficient in solving billing-related pieces
- Fixed chart tooltips
- Improved testing speed and paid down various pieces of technical debt
And lots more. We're making sure Fathom is super scalable and maintainable into the future, and we're going to launch some huge changes soon.
