February 2026 Updates

Here’s what we’ve been working on since our last update:

  • Faster current visitors for high-traffic sites: We completely rebuilt the current visitors system. If your site gets tens of thousands of concurrent visitors, the “current visitors” count now loads essentially instantly, regardless of traffic volume.
  • Lazy-loading dashboard sections: The sections below the fold on your dashboard (Device Types, Browsers, Countries, Events, UTM) now load as you scroll to them, making your initial dashboard load noticeably faster.
  • Cleaner email reports: Email reports now only include native Fathom analytics data. If you previously imported data from Google Analytics, those numbers will no longer be mixed into your email reports.
  • Dashboard keyboard navigation: You can now use Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) to bring up the site selector and quickly navigate between sites.
  • Fixed subscription sync with Stripe: Fixed an issue where plan upgrades or downgrades made via Stripe weren’t being reflected properly. If you were affected, your subscription has been resynced.
  • Fixed billing page for expired trials: Users without an active subscription (e.g. expired trials) no longer see errors when visiting billing or plan pages.
  • Fixed 2FA error: Users with a corrupted two-factor authentication configuration now see a clear error message instead of an internal server error.
  • Emoji event names: You can now use emoji characters in event names.
  • Fixed data exports for unknown events: Unknown event names are now handled properly during data export instead of causing errors.
  • Fixed dashboard filter handling: Invalid regex patterns in dashboard filters are now handled gracefully instead of causing errors.
  • Fixed imported-data-only sites: If you imported data but haven’t installed the tracking script yet, your dashboard now correctly shows your imported data instead of appearing empty.
