Our terms defined

All software has its own language for describing what it does. Here is ours:

• A page view is any page that is loaded by a person (not a bot)
• A referrer is a website that has a link to your website
• A site is what you install our tracking code on and what we show you stats for on your dashboard
• A dashboard is where you see all the stats and metrics for any site you’ve created
• Goals are anything you want to track that isn’t a page reload (like a button click on a form)
• A referral is when someone uses your unique URL and signs up for Fathom (earning you commission)
